As our business prioritized accessibility, I had to carefully research and consider typefaces, colour choices, and overall funtionality thorughout the app and desktop design to ensure an inclusive and user-friendly experience. While mapping out the prototype, I started by laying out the key frames and continued to build, refine, adjust as the design evolved.

Learning outcomes

This project came with its fair share of challenges, but it was incredibly rewarding in the end. While I had some experience with Adobe XD, Figma was new to me. Learning a new tool within a short timeframe was challenging at first, but after looking up some tutorials and playing around on my own, I was able to become comfortable with the software.

Bringing together the knowledge I had gained throughout my academic career and applying it to this capstone project pushed me in a positive way. Although the project focused on building upon my existing knowledge and skills, I also learned a lot along the way. From collaborating effectively with teamates to finding creative solutions to problems both independently and as a group.
